SANTA MARIA DI CAPUA VETERE (I) Capua 


The largest amphitheater in the Roman empire was in CAPUA. The three tiers and amphitheater were in an elliptical shape 
and the arena could hold 37,000 people.  There were 80 entrances. The Capuan amphitheater was constructed sometime 
between 30 BC and 1 AD.
